Current baseline

The website is designed without advertising, fingerprinting, session replay or optional analytics. No non-essential technology should load before its provider, purpose, data flow and legal requirements have been reviewed.

In this baseline, Synheim does not deliberately set non-essential browser cookies or use browser storage to recognise visitors across sites. The website does not run an advertising tag, social media pixel, behavioural analytics tool or session-recording service. A visitor does not need to accept optional technology in order to read the public website or send a contact enquiry.

Essential website functions

Hosting and security infrastructure may use strictly necessary request information or storage to deliver pages, protect the site and operate the contact channel. This notice will identify each active technology, its provider, purpose and duration as those services are configured.

Strictly necessary technology is limited to what is needed for a requested service, such as delivering a page over a secure connection, balancing a request, protecting the contact endpoint from abuse, or preserving a short-lived technical state. It is not used to build a marketing profile or follow a visitor around the web. The public site has no account login, shopping basket or personalised-content feature that requires a persistent visitor preference cookie.

Some browser or network information is still processed as part of any normal web request. That is addressed in the Privacy notice, together with the contact-channel safeguards and retention approach. A technology can be necessary for delivery without becoming permission to add advertising or analytics.

Optional technologies

If Synheim enables analytics or another non-essential technology, it must first:

1. confirm the provider, purpose and data flow; 2. update the privacy and cookie notices; 3. complete the required privacy and transfer review; and 4. implement a clear choice and withdrawal mechanism where required.

Optional analytics will remain technically blocked until that work is complete. Any consent control will present accepting and rejecting optional technology with equal prominence and allow a visitor to withdraw a previous choice.

If an optional service is introduced, Synheim will identify the provider, explain what it does, state how long related storage lasts, and provide a practical way to change the decision. The service will not be activated simply because a visitor continues to browse. Where consent is required, the optional service will remain off until the visitor makes an affirmative choice.
